I used this product for a few years until Gaia briefly took it off the market to reformulate it. During that time, I used a brand that I could get easily and cheaply at my local health food store. I was happy with it for a time, but then my chest pains starting returning with increasing frequency. By then, the Hawthorn Solid Extract was once again available, so I ordered it. I haven't had any episodes since going back on this product. The taste is pretty good, and for some reason, it's easier for me to remember to take something I have to use a spoon for.
