Commonly described as the "building blocks of protein," amino acids are vitally important to human health. They contribute to the repair and rebuilding of muscle tissue, help to enhance overall brain and nervous system funciton, and assist in boosting the immune system and physical energy levels. Second only to water protein is on of the most important substances in our bodies which is why it is nutritionally beneficial to consume a diet that is rich in amino acids. A comparison between coconut tree sap and soy, shows that coconut sap contains up to 14 times the amino acid content of soy. Many soy sauces on the market are fermented by first soaking the soybeans in water and salt, and then adding specific cultures of molds, yeasts and bacteria to help catalyze the fermentation process. Coconut Aminos is made from coconut tree sap, which comes right out of the tree so vital, active and alive nutrients, that is only blending with our own sun dried mineral-rich sea salt and aged, without the need for a fermentation booster or added water. As well, the majority of conventional soy sauces on the market are made with non-organic, genetically modified (GMO) soybeans. Long term use of unfermented soy related products has led to an increase in soy allergies, a disruption in proper thyroid function, and an overload of estrogens in the body.

i knew it's not excatly equal to bragg's but everyone around me said it's almost like that and the healthiest soy souce alternative on the market well I'm disappointed big time, it smells vinegard and tastes fermenty, nothing like a soy sauce substitute alas

I haven't tried the product itself yet but the cap was totally broken and 2/3 of the liquid had run out. Luckily it was in a small plastic bag that held most of it inside but it was already slowly leaking out.

Used this for stir fry and in salads... but no real taste added at all. Just made it sweet that's all. I don't use soy sauce.. but I guess most people get this as a replacement for soy sauce. NOPE.. NOT A REPLACEMENT. If you expect to get the similar taste & essence of soy sauce, you'll be let down. I din't quite find a suitable use to this yet.. but it's a let down in stir fry and salads. Notwithstanding, sipping it alone .. it tastes quite nice.

I bought it based on the great reviews and recommendations and was sorely disappointed. It does not taste any where like soya sauce, which I could try to be accommodating about, but the main gripe is that the sauce is on the sweet side, which I cannot accept :(
