I use this to make custom drinks for myself. One is the Pauling heart protocol. The other drinks are based on Abe's proline cycle research - to help me on endurance based exercise or to help me preferentially use fat as fuel earlier in workouts or in general. I love this product, it takes time to mix in water - stir or shake it in and just let it sit for a few minutes and it will dissolve.

I use this for extended endurance activity with other aminos like proline and lysine. When I add glycine it really helps me feel like I have more energy later in the workout. I don't bonk, and I feel fresher. Seems to be muscle sparing and helps me switch over to fat for fuel faster.

I use this before all workouts. For endurance workouts it helps me not catabolize muscle, for anaerobic workouts it helps me have better more intense workouts and faster recovery. Doesn't mix well with water - but no bcaa I've tried mixes well.

I bought this to make custom drinks to prep for different activities and to help recover from different workouts. This free form powder mixes well and I'm pleased with the difference that making my own energy drinks has on my workouts and recovery.
