HyaFlex for cats is an oral solution containing hyaluronic acid (HA) for oral administration. The hyaluronic acid in HyaFlex is one of the purest and highest in molecular weight - no less than 2.4 million Daltons. High molecular weight HA is what the body uses in its native form, so the body can recognize and use it better than glucosamine or low molecular weight HA.

Chemical name: Sodium Hyaluronate (C00 Na) (CH20H)

Hyaluronic acid, a glycosaminoglycan is composed of repeating subunits of D-glucuronic acid and N-acety-D-glucosamine linked together by glycosidic bonds. Glucosamine, often recommended to help with healthy joints, is only half of the HA molecule! Supplementing with HA gives you the complete HA molecule for joint health.

What is hyaluronic acid (HA)? Hyaluronic acid is a special mucopolysaccharide occurring naturally throughout your pet's body and yours. Its main functions are to bind water, lubricate joints and transport nutrients. Hyaluronic acid is one of the most hydrophilic molecules in nature, binding 1000 times its weight in water.
